Our aim is to create a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment where people of different abilities and experience levels can come along, give Seated Pilates a try and participate at a level that feels right for them.
These gentle, chair-based Pilates sessions focus on supporting strength, balance and mobility, helping you stay active in a supportive and enjoyable way. Participants are also welcome to bring their own hand weights if they would like to add a little extra to their workout.
But it’s about more than exercise. The social connection is an important part of our Sundays too. After Pilates, you’re invited to stay for a relaxed social lunch, a cuppa and a chat with others in the community.
Pay what you can: There is no registration fee for the program. Instead, we’re introducing a “pay what the session is worth / what you can afford” approach. Simply make a voluntary contribution when you attend. Give what feels manageable for you — whether that’s a little or a little more. Your contributions help us cover the costs of keeping the program running, while ensuring that cost isn’t a barrier to taking part.
When: 12.15–1.00 pm
Where: Olinda Community House: 79-81, Olinda monbulk Road
Price: Pay what you feel (between $5-$10 appreciated)
Other Notes
We are currently looking at how to continue our social lunch & refreshments after class, which may not occur once a month.
Registration is required once only — once you’re registered, you can come along to the Sunday sessions that suit you throughout September and October.
New faces and familiar faces are equally welcome. Come along, give it a try and see if Seated Pilates is for you.
